Case IH is another brand that’s generally known for quality, but the Farmall 50A and 55A models are more trouble than they’re worth. They have a history of transmission issues and poor resale value, and on top of that, they don’t always provide the power you need to get through heavy tasks.
So while you might save a few bucks initially, you could end up paying the price with repair bills down the road. If you’re looking for something that’ll give you more peace of mind and power for your money, these might not be the best pick.
